I hold a degree in film production from the University of Texas and currently work in Austin as a freelance director of photography and cameraman. I have lensed three independent feature films, numerous short films, as well as commercials and documentaries. I also have experience as a network cameraman having shot for various television programs including the Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii, E:60 for ESPN, and The Daily Show on Comedy Central. My camerawork has been commissioned in Ecuador, Mexico, Hawaii, Germany and all over the United States for documentary and corporate productions.
In additon to cinematography, I am a director with an interest in visual effects, stop motion, motion graphics and pixellation techniques. My eye for images, and my editing experience lend themselves well to short format visual storytelling.
In my free time I have been known to attempt marathon running, climb dormant volcanoes in Mexico and record albums that no one will hear. |
